Which areas do you cover?

Supawior serves Wallasey and selected surrounding areas of Wirral. Please get in touch with your postcode to check whether you are within the current service area.

Do you offer pay-as-you-go walks?

Supawior operates primarily through monthly memberships, giving regular clients a guaranteed weekly walking schedule. Additional walks may be offered to members on an ad-hoc basis and can usually be requested up to seven days beforehand, subject to availability.

How do memberships work?

Your membership reserves a set number of regular weekly walking slots throughout the year. Membership fees are calculated across Supawior’s 48 working weeks and divided into 12 equal monthly payments, making payments predictable while protecting your dog’s place in the schedule.

Does a guaranteed slot mean my preferred time is guaranteed?

Your dog’s agreed walking day and place in the schedule are reserved. Exact collection times may vary because of travel, weather, traffic and the needs of the dogs. Supawior will provide an estimated collection window rather than guarantee an exact time.

How and when are membership payments taken?

Memberships are paid monthly in advance by Direct Debit, normally around the first of each month. If you join partway through a month, your first payment may be adjusted before regular monthly payments begin.

Can I cancel or change one of my dog’s walks?

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or request a change. Because your membership reserves regular space in the schedule, owner-cancelled walks are not refundable and cannot be deducted from the monthly payment.

Where enough notice is given, Supawior may offer an alternative date, but this depends on availability and cannot be guaranteed.

What happens when I go on holiday?

Your dog’s regular place remains reserved while you are away, so membership payments continue as normal. An alternative walk may sometimes be offered, subject to availability, but missed walks cannot be carried over, accumulated or refunded.

Does Supawior take annual leave?

Yes. Supawior operates for 48 weeks of the year and may close for up to four weeks of planned annual leave. These weeks have already been accounted for when calculating your membership price, so monthly payments remain the same throughout the year.

Supawior will normally provide at least four weeks’ notice of planned closures.

Do you work weekends and bank holidays?

Weekend and bank-holiday services may be available by prior arrangement and are subject to availability. Additional charges apply:

How do I cancel my membership?

Membership cancellation requires one full calendar month’s written notice. For example, notice given during July would end the membership on 31 August, with August’s payment remaining payable.

Cancelling your Direct Debit does not count as cancellation notice and may leave an outstanding balance.

What happens if Supawior has to cancel?

If Supawior cannot provide an agreed service because of illness, an emergency or another unavoidable situation, you will be contacted as soon as reasonably possible. Depending on the circumstances, Supawior may offer an alternative walk, a pop-in visit or an account credit.

What happens during very hot or severe weather?

Your dog’s welfare always comes first. Walks may be shortened, moved to a cooler time, adapted to a shaded route or replaced with a pop-in visit when walking would be unsafe.

Services may also be changed or cancelled during storms, snow, ice, flooding or other dangerous conditions. You will be contacted if your dog’s service needs to change.

How do you decide whether a dog is suitable for group walks?

Every dog is considered individually before joining a group. Supawior looks at temperament, behaviour, size, energy, communication style and the needs of the existing dogs.

Group placements are based on compatibility rather than simply filling spaces. If a group environment is no longer suitable, a solo service may be recommended.

Can reactive or nervous dogs use Supawior?

Possibly. Nervous, reactive, senior or young dogs may be better suited to solo walks, depending on their individual needs. All known behavioural concerns, bite history, reactivity and triggers must be disclosed before services begin so that they can be managed safely.

Will my dog be allowed off the lead?

Dogs are only allowed off lead where the necessary permission has been provided and Supawior considers it safe. Recall, behaviour, surroundings, weather, livestock, other dogs and any legal restrictions will all be considered. Supawior may keep any dog on lead whenever this is judged to be the safest option.

How long will my dog be away from home?

Group dogs receive approximately one hour of walking, excluding collection and drop-off time. Because several dogs may need to be collected and returned, your dog may be away from home for longer than the walk itself.

Solo walks last approximately 45 minutes and pop-in visits approximately 30 minutes.

What happens if my dog becomes unwell or is injured?

Supawior will try to contact you or your nominated emergency contact immediately. If urgent treatment is reasonably considered necessary and you cannot be reached, your dog may be taken to your nominated veterinary practice or the nearest available vet.

Veterinary fees remain the owner’s responsibility unless Supawior is legally responsible for the injury or incident.

Do I need to provide a collar, harness and identification tag?

Yes. Your dog must have suitable, secure and properly fitted walking equipment. Dogs must also wear legally required identification. Please tell Supawior about any equipment instructions or concerns before the walk.

Can you walk more than one dog from the same household?

Yes, subject to suitability, safe handling and availability. An additional charge of £10 applies for another dog from the same household.

How do I get started?

Contact Supawior to discuss your dog’s needs and availability. Before services begin, you will need to complete the client registration form, provide the required health and behavioural information, agree to the Terms and Conditions and arrange an initial assessment or meet-and-greet.
